Zanna and her friends...

As I said previously, Zanna goes over to Olivia's house on Fridays while I'm at work. Olivia's little brother is Thomas, who is 18 months old. Zanna and Thomas are very good friends now, and they look forward to spending time together on Fridays! We are so blessed that their family, and fantastic babysitter Yolanda, let Zanna come over every week to play and be well-taken care of! Zanna also has a Z-friend at church; Zoe. Zoe LOVES babies and always wants to play with Zanna and the other babies at church. She is very good with children and Zanna adores her! They had a great time being silly together. We feel so blessed to be at a church with such caring families! We love FPC!

As you can see, Zanna loved looking at her eggs and her friends more than the camera :)

The Hunt!

We went to church for the Family Easter Picnic and Egg hunt. Lots of Zanna's friends were there (more pics of them later!) and she had a wonderful time hunting for eggs on the Day School playground... she thought it was SO much fun! Her friend Olivia is helping her find eggs in the last picture. Zanna goes to play at Olivia's house every Friday while I'm at work. Olivia is a very good helper with Zanna, and Zanna thinks she is just the BEST! :) Happy hunting!

PIckin' up chicks....

Cam has been dreaming of a backyard chicken coop for a while now, and now it's becoming a reality. He's almost done working on their coop and he and Zanna even went and picked up chicks. As Cam says, "babies are always good for picking up chicks." Please ignore my lovely bedhead in the photo and focus on the adorable chirping chick I'm holding. Cam has named the chicks Nugget, Popeye, Colonel and Extra Crispy.
Zanna absolutely adores the chicks and has a hilarious baby sign that she does when she talks about them... flapping her wings in the air. Pretty soon ya'll can come over and get fresh eggs from our backyard chickens!

First Kiss....

Our friends, the Ukropinas, came to visit at the beginning of February. Eric loved giving Zanna kisses....

Cowgirl in training!

Our wonderful friend Dan Barbero made Zanna this beautiful wooden rocking horse for her first birthday and she LOVES it. She loves to play with his hair, and she loves to ride the horse like a cowgirl! Thank you, Dan!

Garden gal

It's a gorgeous Saturday, so we spent time outside while Daddy worked in the garden. Zanna loved exploring the dirt by the brussell sprouts, which are as big as she is :) Good thing she had her water to keep her hydrated- it was warm out there! And, thanks to Aunt Marta for the fun garden gal outfit! :)
