The B Allens came to visit this past weekend! It was an absolute blast watching the three cousins interact and love on each other. Brynn and Bridger are such sweet and loving cousins! Unfortunately, I got sick after our trip to the Farmer's market, and did not catch any more sweet photos of them together, but these are some of my favorite from the morning at the Farmer's market. A hysterical game of hide and seek by the tree, and then watching an awesome one-mand banjo band (Uncle Ry-Ry, he could play the tamborine and drum with his FEET while playing the banjo and the harmonica... get practicing!) B Allens, come back!

On Mother's Day, Zanna sang to me, "Happy Birthday to Mother's day, Momma...." :) Melted my heart. We played bubbles and in the swing for quite a while that day, and I just love her shirt, "Owl Always Love you". Owl always love her too!

Overheard during playtime...

Zanna to baby doll: "I do not like that fussing." (NO idea where she's heard that :))

About 5 minutes later, presumably when the baby doll in question stopped her fussing, Zanna sang this original ditty... "That is a good choice, That is a good choice."

So, needless to say, with this little sponge around, we're being very intentional about what we say (and don't say).

Uncle Ry-Ry and Aunt "Wowen" visit

 
 
 
 

Uncle Ryan and Aunt Lauren,Ry-Ry and Wowen, came to visit from Tulsa in March and we loved every minute of it. It was SXSW weekend, so we went to the Bright Eyes and Middle Brother concert at Auditorium Shores (both very good!), and to the farmer's market where Zanna got her face painted with a white cat... it took a while, so Dad, Ry-Ry and Wowen had to wait it out near the super-awesome sorted trash/compost/recycle bins... Zanna and Ry-Ry loved dancing at the concert! Come again, guys!
