Best friends!

Here are more pictures of our time with Eric, Marta and David. Notice how Zanna and Eric are very into one another's faces... I didn't notice until now that Eric has his thumb in Zanna's mouth in the first one :) And then in the next it looks as if Zanna wants to get him back! They had an incredible time playing on the floor together, Eric cruises right along and Zanna just laughed and laughed at him. Next time we all get together Zanna may be chasing after him!! Fun with the Ukropinas!

Some of our closest friends, the Ukropinas, came to visit yesterday and it was so much fun watching Eric and Zanna play together. Last time they saw each other, Zanna was only 1 month old and wasn't very aware that Eric was around, but this time, she thought he was the FUNNIEST person she'd ever met... she laughed hysterically while he was crawling around her. Eric is now 10.5 months old and such a happy guy! These pics are of the dads enjoying some baby time,"Uncle David" and Zanna got along just great and the babies enjoyed picture time with their daddies. New Discoveries and an Octoshirt....

Zanna has discovered Maggie cat... and really likes her. She's not so sure about Molly dog yet,
but she's getting there. Aunt Emily gave us an octo-shirt from New York and I promised her a picture. Zanna sported the Octo-shirt today and got several compliments :) And then lastly, Zanna has discovered hair.... poor Audrey. Audrey is in my "Second Monday Most Fabulous Book Club in Austin" and came over to carpool to bookclub, asks to hold Zanna and within SECONDS, Zanna had her hair in her mouth.... all during bookclub Audrey was saying, "my hair feels damp stilll." YUCK. But, truly, she has discovered so much this month... it's incredible.

My friend Melanie gave Zanna this wonderful velveteen rabbit when she was born...
She LOVES it! Dad named it Stu (yes, Rabbit Stu... I know!) and Zanna is totally in love with this bunny.... too much fun!

Ember and Alt's Wedding!

This weekend we headed to DFW for my cousin (and Zanna's super cousin) Ember and Josh's wedding. I had the honor of officiating the wedding which was INCREDIBLE and Zanna had a fabulous time seeing the Demarest side of the family! These pics are mom, dad, cousin Josh and Uncle Bear! So much fun!

Zanna's Daddy Rocks!

So it's a little bit late, but happy Father's day to Cam! These are pics taken on Father's day when we were in Dallas for Hillary's wedding! If you can't tell, Zanna's shirt says "My Daddy Rocks" :) I agree! Thanks Cam for being such a wonderful dad and an incredible husband. Love you!

Zanna's frst swim and some tree hugging...

We had a youth group pool party on Sunday and Zanna got all dolled up in her bathing suit, slathered on the sunscreen and put on her pink hat and shades and headed out to join the party... We didn't go underwater quite yet, but she had a grand time sitting in the water with Mom and "talking" with all of the girls.... it was really fun! Sam even offered to feed her dinner! And, since I live in Austin, we of course have a one-sie that say "plant a tree" so we had a Treehugger photo shoot in the front yard the other day....Zanna says " Go Green!"
